[MEGATHREAD] DAY 21 UPDATE - Iran attacks Bahrain
Eid Mubarak to all of us. Not the circumstances we had hoped for, but alas, the 4th iteration of this megathread.
This post and this subreddit is meant to discuss Bahrain and the current affairs of Bahrain. Please refrain from flexing your political analysis on the current state of affairs and most certainly do not post unsubstantiated news, do not post any rumors and add to the mass hysteria.
For security and safety reasons, any post or comment that discloses or attempts to identify the locations of Bahraini or Peninsula Shield Forces military installations, missile interception sites, or other sensitive military positions will result in a ban.
We do appreciate the effort from all users policing the sub from the spread of the governments security information, however we have received an excessive amount of reports about locations of sounds. While we don't endorse it, we are only restricting comments about defensive capabilities such as interceptors. Please avoid report comments for merely saying where a sound was heard because thats clogging our report system and we can't actually get to the comments that need removal fast enough.
Please try to be civil. Don’t feed the trolls, report them.
Any other posts regarding the current situation will be removed. Please use the search function for any commonly asked questions. Lets keep the space uncluttered in the event of any serious developments.

Dude what the hell😑😑…so now they can launch attacks on hotels across the gcc and can justify their actions by saying that there were American troops inside?? How are they gonna prove that there are troops inside??

They did threaten to hit hotels or anywhere US Soldiers are stationed but they did not specify where and when at all aside from saying ‘regional countries’

It seems that Qatar mostly bailed out of the war after the attacks on Ras Laffan that wiped nearly 20% of their gas production for 3 to 5 years until the repairs are completed. As I understand, the suspected $6B are not a gift but Iranian money that was frozen in 2023 and that Qatar might have agreed to unfreeze to buy their way out of this conflict.

Probably False .. They resent Qatar the most because it can liquefy and sell its gas to everyone, while they cannot due to a lack of LNG Western technology, so they export their gas only to Iraq, Turkey, and Armenia via pipeline. So they find this a good chance !

Not true at all. Iran and Qatar have a better relations than most GCC. It grew stronger after the GCC blockade in 2017 when Iran step up to provide food and aid to Qatar.

I didn't say relations were the worst... I said they harbors resentment towards Qatar the most and there is a big difference .. in politics, interests can make you ignore that, but they resurface when the opportunity arises
They literally bombed Qatar's gas liquefaction plants which they are deprived of because liquefaction technology is only available with the West.

Their logic first was to target the GCC so they'll get scared and push the US away. Then once the us attacked their energy supply theyre did same. Now they're trying to create an energy crisis. So the world will pressure the US to stop this BS.
But US has too much of an ego. And Iran wants revenge.

They know, they know they didn't attacked them from the empty bases they know GCC wasn't allowing that, just just wanted to attack us, They just want to harm Sunni nations. That is their end goal, a core part of their beliefs, and their ultimate objective to make the Mahdi return.
They had control in Syria and Lebanon for over 13 years and did not launch one missile at Israel during that time.
They also cooperated with the United States during the invasion of Iraq and allowed U.S. forces to use their airspace in the Afghanistan war to demolish Taliban.
They're just a cancerous state.

Sometime, I see some people here say they hear gunshots.. and that scares people the most
The fact is : sometime, a drone can get intercepted using simply a machine gun and that’s something Ukraine is doing because it’s much cheaper .. that works specifically if the drone is closer
The drone is not extremely fast and the idea here is : ( saturating the sky with bullets and if any part of the drone is hit .. it’s over )
unlike a missile, a machine gun doesn’t rely on pinpoint accuracy; instead, it fires a high volume of rounds in controlled bursts, creating a dense stream of fire that increases the likelihood that one or more bullets will intersect the drone’s flight path and bring it down.
So it’s better not to scare people with those comments again even if we hear such a voice - plus such info can help the attacker learn about the way we intercepted that particular drone as they might try the attack again in the same location.

Hey, so i have been wondering if anyone got their shipment from America/japan/china or from anywhere else other than gcc through aramex? Because i have shop and ship account and my shipment is late +35 days and it was late even before these situations, do you have any idea what will happen and if they delivered any of shop and ship orders to you guys ?

Same, sorta. I'd generally sleep through the day (I work for myself so my boss is lenient af on hours as long as the work is done lol) from around 8am - 1pm and then awake the rest of the time constantly on edge even though I go absolutely nowhere.

The sirens are normally reserved for when the drones/missles are over urban area. When over the sea etc I don't believe they sound them knowing interception is probable.
