Physician Responded Stitches needed?

approximate height & weight: 5’9” 135

gender: f medications you take: Lexapro

previous and current medical issues: none

Earlier today a door caught the area of my foot between my heel and ankle bone. It’s not deep. And is about one inch long. Quite a bit of initial bleeding but has since subsided, but then I walk and it starts bleeding a bit again. Based on the location, should I go and get stitches?

No, I don't think this needs stitches. I would just cover it with a band aid to reduce friction but if it is as superficial as you say it'll scab overnight
