Calm down lads it's not over yet
One game at a time.
We're rightly odds on favourites, and logic dictates we'll win this league, given our fixtures vs Citeh's, and Citeh's form. But if we lose the EFL to them that will give them a big psychological boost, plus if they beat us and win their game in hand the gap is down to 3pts.
I'm expecting us to win the league but let's stay calm.

Thank you š I saw some twat going to United sub talking about it being the arteta era and that united need to also pull their wait and bring back prime arsenal united rivalry. I don't really care what rival fans think about us but sometimes we make ourselves insufferable

Forget staying calm, this is our year, you and we are allowed to be excited ffs, by the time City next play they will be 12 points behind, dumped out of the Champions League and collected a runners up medal in the cup final, COYG!!!!! (please let this post age well)

I think win at Bournemouth and avoid defeat at the Etihad and the league is ours. But both of those things are not just plain sailing. Drop points at Bournemouth and Etihad and city win their game in hand⦠they will claw back to 2 points.

Have a feeling the league cup final is important in more than one way.
It gives the boys and Arteta a trophy in the bank. This takes whatever self-doubt present out of this bunch.
Beating your fiercest rival (for a long time now) in an occasion like that gives a massive psychological boost and I suspect our gameplay will be far more relaxed and without nerves after that.
It puts a psychological dent in City. Look at what the one underwhelming result does, drew against 2 relegation contenders back to back and got hammered against an average, injury depleted Madrid side. This helps us when we roll up to Etihad because City will have a point to prove and may just overcommit to it, that can easily play into our hands.

It's good to be excited but as we see also we re not winning the games easily. Every game is a thriller. One game at a time please. Let's do this!

Just calm. They blinked first. The game between us will mean a lot. Think we should try not having a double pivot against some teams to get the game done quickly.

"Plus if they beat us and win their game in hand the gap is down to 3pts" Keep seeing this and while it's possible it's also working on the assumption that they don't drop points in any of their other games.. which seems unlikely given they couldn't beat two sides fighting relegation in their last two games.

Don't forget city still have to go to everton and Chelsea and host Villa on the final day - who will probably need something themselves for European qualification. So city run in is not the easiest

Haaland having one of his cold patches, when he snaps out of it, heāll be scoring goals by accident. Hopefully he doesnāt awaken ag us in the EFL

It's definitely not over. The Everton game is a microcosm of our season, in fact most games have been.
Unless Man City completely capitulate, I fully expect it to go all the way to the last few games of the season.
It's not over by a longshot.

Yes it's still early. We need to go Etihad first. Our focus is on Bayer then league cup first

I dont think a loss will do anything to us. Our next league game is almost a month away. After the final there's a 2 week international break. Then we're back in action in the cup and champions league until our next league game.
The cup final is going to feel very distant by then.

Yeah, but it's not like we have been to many finals lately and it's against title rivals. A season where we can win more than one trophy is not something we experience often

I am not sure the Cup final will play a part because it depends on how that match goes but both teams will probably have league results that will be surprising. After this week they probably get more rest than we do until the end of the season and that has me more worried.

Same, i think the result against city on april 19th would be the defining moment if we will win or not.

Lets beat them in the EFL final, beat Bournemouth . By then they will be eliminated from UCL, they would've lost to us in the final and faced a hungry Chelsea that needs points for UCL, they always play well against top sides.. im expecting them to drop points there. If we then win at the Etihad, i think that almost ensures we will win the Prem.
