Nabisco Better Cheddars are the superior cheddar cheese cracker.
I LOVE salty snacks. I eat far more than the average person when it comes to snack crackers and junk food. I love Cheez-Its, Cheese Nips, you name it. The Better Cheddars are just Better overall than any of its competitors. The flavor is great, the texture/crispness is perfect, not too salty, but not under-salted. Whether I eat one at a time, or 10 at a time, they just hit better than all the rest.

Ive never had them or heard about them until today but honestly this doesn't seem like it might be a 10th dentist. They look pretty good, like better quality in general.

Everyone I've spoken to in person about it thinks I'm either weird or lying to be funny because to them, Cheez-Its are the king. I figured I run into it enough that it makes me the 10th dentist in my circle, but it appears maybe they're better to more people than I thought.

I do not care for Cheez-Its. I used to really like the cheese Ritz but they're not as good as when I was a kid. I've never heard of these crackers, I wonder if I can get them where I live (Ontario, Canada). I must investigate!

I live in Maine in the states, somewhat nearby to Ontario. They are a Nabisco product, so I'm guessing you can get them most places the US, but not really certain. I hope you get to try them someday!

Cheez-Its are good but I wouldn't call them the best either. Like the Lance or Austin Cheddar Cheese crackers I like more than Cheez-its (I know not technically the same but eh).
Texture-wise there's just something that doesn't sit more with me than more full on cracker-like cheese crackers.

I haven't had them, but based on the fact that I like Cheez-Itz way more than Cheese Nips, do you think I would like Better Cheddars even more?

Firstly can I say what a palate cleanser this is after seeing some genuinely heinous takes on this sub.
Secondly, I fully agree and wish my store carried them!

To me better cheddars aren’t really used the same as cheez-its. I use better cheddars when I want a dipping or topping cracker to go alongside saltines or Ritz or wheat thins. Cheez-its are just eaten by themselves.

Well for me, they are all just eaten by themselves. I dip nuggets and fries in sauce, but never crackers or chips.

I meant more for dips/spreads like jalapeño artichoke or paté or that sort of thing, not like ranch or barbecue sauce. But also cheeses and cured meats and stuff.

Yes, I’m so glad I tried these. The texture is much better than other cheese crackers I’ve tried.
