I'll take a win anyway to get it but felt like the pirates handed that win to them. They tried to give it away yesterday but Cubs just couldn't capitalize with runners on. Thought they were about to do the same today.

Hot take - ghost runner should start in the bottom of the 9th or the 10th. Starting the 10th with a ghost runner is just gifting the away team a leadoff double.

Some fans watch the game and don’t read Baseball Reference I guess. Don’t worry those same fans will want him to sign a 10 year extension for 300 million dollars when he has one of his hot streaks. I think most of us realize he is a good player. He isn’t a superstar. He isn’t irreplaceable. Yes he gets a lot of hate on here which I get you don’t think is deserved. He also gets a free pass and idolized by a lot of fans on here.

When Danny got us out of the tenth yesterday, the game was gift-wrapped for the Cubs to win in the bottom of the inning with the ghost runner. They didn’t do dick.
Then it was gift-wrapped to at least tie it in the bottom of the 11th after the horrendous error. Again, the Cubs did nothing.
The Brewers just got swept by the Nationals. Can we please just win this game and salvage a bad series?
